Ramgarh: Tata Central Hospital installs Phacoemulsification Machine for cataract surgeries

Ramgarh, July 20: Tata Steel’s West Bokaro Division inaugurated the Phacoemulsification Machine at Tata Central Hospital on Wednesday in its endeavour to upgrade the healthcare infrastructure in its operational area. Anurag Dixit, General Manager, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel graced the occasion as Chief Guest. 

The state-of-the-art Phacoemulsification Machine at Tata Central Hospital, West Bokaro Division ushers a new era in management of Ophthalmic patients providing state-of-the-art surgical capabilities based on the principals of precision, minimal invasion and early recovery. 

 

 

This brings about a paradigm shift in the quality of healthcare services being offered to the local community bringing it at par with any tertiary care ophthalmic centre in terms of cataract surgery and allied rehabilitation.

Present on the occasion were Mahesh Prasad, President, Rashtriya Colliery Mazdoor Union, West Bokaro, P K Singh, Secretary, Rashtriya Colliery Mazdoor Union, West Bokar, Dr Ashish Ray, CMO, Tata Central Hospital, West Bokaro, union officals, doctors and staff of Tata Central Hospital.
