Ramgarh, Nov 12: The inauguration of a three-day divisional rally under the Bharat Scouts and Guides at Kendriya Vidyalaya was started on Saturday. The program was formally started with wreaths and lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and the nominated chairman of the school management committee, Col Gyan Prakash Pandey, on the portrait of Lord Baden Powell.
School Principal Dr AJ Bada welcomed the chief guest and children of Bharat Scouts and Guides from different schools and their escorts on the school premises.
A brief outline of this program was presented by Dr AK Choudhary.
Notably, 52 scouts from 26 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 43 guides from 22 Kendriya Vidyalayas gave their presence at the rally. In this divisional rally, Kamlesh Kushwaha (HWB) has been officially appointed as the coordinator.
In this three-day rally, 9 Scouts and 9 Guides will be selected to represent the KVS Ranchi division in the Pre-Jamboori to be organized in the Jaipur division.
Moreover, children will be taught the qualities to master various activities like mountain climbing, march-past, drama, group singing, scout camp, rangoli competition etc.
