Ramgarh, Feb 23: Ramgarh has got a golden opportunity to host the 14th Jharkhand State Fencing Championship. The two-day championship will be held at Child World Scholars High School from Feb 25.
The school director Geetanjali Jaju said that it is a matter of great pleasure and privilege for Child World Scholars High School that their school has got the auspicious opportunity to host the state-level fencing competition, the only one in the entire Ramgarh district.
“Certainly, we are ready to give our 100 per cent to make this program a success by all the teachers of the school. This type of competition, which comes under state-level hosting, will be a golden opportunity for the entire Ramgarh region and for all interested players associated with this game,” Jaju said.
He added that their school is feeling proud as it accepts the hospitality of this state-level sports competition.
“We are also eagerly waiting for the moment when we will give a grand welcome to all the students associated with this sport while also grooming their bright future,” added he.
All kinds of preparations related to this competition are being done continuously by the school.
The school is fully aware of this law and order and a joint meeting of the School Management, Ramgarh District Fencing Association officials and Ranchi Technical Director were held at the school hall.
During the meeting, a special discussion was held regarding the success of the program and to generate interest in sports along with studies among the children.
On the other hand, the officials of the union said that the better players selected from this state-level competition will get a chance to participate in the national competition.
On February 24, more than 200 participants from different districts across the state will take part in the championship whose preparation has been completed.
