Ramgarh: Youth dies after LP truck runs over bike at Gola

Ramgarh, Aug 27: A youth died in a road accident in the Gola police station area of ??the district on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Anuj Karmali, son of Bal Govind Karmali, a resident of Toyar in Gola.

Anuj was returning home from Rajrappa on his bike when a Bolero car on its way to Gola from Chitarpur dodged him. This made Anuj fall on the road along with the bike. One LP truck coming from behind could not stop on time and ran over him.

Anuj died on the spot. Local people, however, chased and caught the truck.

On receiving the information, the Gola police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem at Sadar hospital Ramgarh.

Woman’s body found in pond at Barkakana

In another incident, a woman’s body was found on Friday evening in the Joda Talab located in Barkakana of the district. The body seemed to be of a 45-years-old woman.

The GRP police reached Joda Talab after getting the information and fished out the body from the pond and sent it for postmortem.
