Ramgarh: Zarina Khatoon Museum to participate in International Museum Expo

Ramgarh, April 20: Zarina Khatoon Museum cum Research Center Chitarpur Ramgarh has been invited by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India to participate in the International Museum Expo 2023. This event organized by the Ministry of Culture is to be held from 18 May to 20 May 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

It will bring together experts and museologists from around the world to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices.  Fayaz Ahmed, Director of the Zarina Khatoon Museum cum Research Center with decades of experience in museum studies is chosen to represent the state to showcase the richness in cultural heritage and diversity of India through participation, he is hoped to highlight the importance of preserving and promoting cultural treasures for future generations.

Ahmed, director of the museum, said that he was honoured and excited to be invited to participate in this prestigious event. Museums are not only repositories of artefacts and history but also serve as powerful tools for education, awareness, and inspiration. I look forward to engaging with international experts and hope to learn from the experiences, he added.
