Ramgarh, Dec. 29: Ramgarh resident Dr. Thakur Mrityunjay Kumar Singh has been awarded the ‘Best Young Doctor Award’ by the National President of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Dr. Jayalal in Patna a couple of days back.
Dr. Singh was the District Nodal Officer during the first and second waves of Covid-19 Covid Care. He was in charge of the quarantine centre.
He played an important role in controlling Covid-19 by establishing contact and coordination with not only the Ramgarh district administration and the district health committee, but all the public representatives, media persons and common citizens during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He was honoured at the national level for his remarkable contribution to the medical field. Presently, Dr. Mrityunjay is the Vice President of District IMA, State Secretary of Food and Safety IMA Initiative, State Convener of Jharkhand State Health Services Association. He is also the chairperson of Indian Red Cross Society Ramgarh branch.
“It is a matter of pride for me and it inspires me to try my best to give my best with more enthusiasm,” said Dr Mrityunjay Singh after receiving the award.
