Ramgarh’s Gyanshree bags first prize in Atal Tinkering Lab Festival 2021-22

Ramgarh, Feb. 26: Gyanshree, a class VIII student at DAV Barkakana bagged the first prize in an all-India level science competition held at Mount Abu School, Delhi.

The competition was titled “Change Leaders” organized by CBSE Atal Tinkering Lab Festival 2021-22 along with Atal Innovation Mission by NITI Aayog, Government of India.

The competition aimed at making an innovative model of such equipment which can help tackle climate change due to global warming and other reasons.

The students were supposed to send a video of 3 minutes describing the model and its function.

Gyanshree’s model was based on fire detection and protection system which she named “Fidpro”. It works on the system of detecting fire within a range of 25 km, sending signals to fire stations and even extinguishing that fire.

The principal of the school -cum – ARO Jharkhand Zone – D, Dr. Urmila Singh congratulated and blessed the child on her achievement.

She said,” India needs such talents who could give something new to the nation. The Atal Tinkering Lab which was established in the school last year has started serving its purpose and more of such achievements will come on the way.”
