Ranchi: 14 students from CUJ bags offers in placement drive

Ranchi, Dec 27: The MBA (2021-23 batch) students of the Department of Business Administration, Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) have excelled in the campus placement drive where a total of 14 students have received job offers from prestigious companies.

The job offers are an indication that the adverse impact of the Covid pandemic has not deterred the companies from recruiting CUJ students. Major companies including Bandhan Bank Limited, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, HDFC Life and Triveni Almirah Private Limited participated in the process.

The University communique said that 14 students of MBA received the highest CTC offered of Rs 6.86 lakh per annum (LPA) and the lowest of Rs 4.50 lakh per annum. Further, there are other major companies in a row like Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Planet Spark etc. to participate in Campus Drive at CUJ in near future for MBA students (2021-23 batch).

The students who have been placed include Mr Ujjwal Anand, Ms Amisha Kumari Srivastava, Ms Megha, Mr Saifullah Mr Aman Yadav, Mr Bikash Mahanta, Mr Utkarsh Raj, Ms Priya Kumari, Ms Kusum Thakur, Mr Shubham Kumar Patel, Ms Shilpa Nag, Mr Ayush Kumar, Mr Udesh Kumar Kashyap and Mr Shubham Kumar.

Apart from campus placement, a total of five students have cracked the PSU examinations too. Mr Kumar Saurav of MBA (2016-21) and Mr Rahul Kumar Choudhary of MBA (2017-19) have been selected for the position of Management Trainee (Personnel & HR) at Coal India Limited. Mr Kundan Kumar of MBA (2016-21) has been selected as an Executive Trainee – Human Resources at NTPC Limited, and Mr Madan Mohan Sharan of MBA (2016-21) has been selected for HR/Personnel Officer (Scale-I) at Central Bank of India (through IBPS) and Mr Abhishek of MBA (2016-21) has been selected for HR/Personnel Officer (Scale-I) at Union Bank of India (through IBPS).
