Ranchi: AYUSH director honours women by giving yoga tips and yoga mat

Ranchi, March 8: On the occasion of World Women’s Day, a one-day yoga training camp-cum-honour ceremony for women was organized at State Yoga Centre at East Jail Road in Ranchi.

 

In the programme, special yoga exercises related to women’s problems were conducted by State Yoga Center’s instructor Dr. Archana Kumari. The participants, who were over 100 in number, were also given tips on time management and stress management.  Participants were honoured with yoga mats.

 

AYUSH director Dr. Fazlur Sami congratulated the women and let them know Yoga can help them lead a healthy and happy life. He said that yoga instructors will be appointed soon and Ayush Gram Mela will be organized to create awareness in the state.

 

Those who remained present during the programme included district AYUSH Medical Officer, Dr. Sachchidanand Singh, State Yoga Centre in-charge Mukul Kumar Dixit , medical officer Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Dr. Vikram Samrat, and Dr. Parineeta Singh besides others.
