Ranchi, Sept.16: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, convicted in multiple cases of fodder scam, will be able to go to Singapore for his medical treatment.
This has become possible after the CBI special court released his passport after hearing his plea through his lawyer.
On September 13, Lalu had filed the petition urging the court to release his passport as his appointment with a Singapore-based doctor is fixed on September 24
It is the second time his passport is being released from the possession of court, where it has been kept after his convictions in multiple cases of fodder scam.
Earlier on June 14, the special court of Ranchi CBI ordered the release of Lalu’s passport for its renewal.
