Ranchi: CBSE to organise science exhibition on ‘Technology and Toys’

Registrations open till October 17

Ranchi, Oct 9: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to organise a Science Exhibition for the session 2022-23. The CBSE aims to help students with their innovative skills through this exhibition.

The exhibition will be organised first at the regional and then at the national level. This time the theme of the Science Exhibition is ‘Technology and Toys’. While the sub-themes are ‘Information and Communication Technology’, ‘Eco-Friendly Materials’, ‘Health and Cleanliness’, ‘Transport and Innovation’, ‘Environmental Concerns’, ‘Historical Development with Current Innovation’ and ‘Mathematics for Us’.

CBSE has also included junior and senior categories for the exhibition. The junior category will include students from classes VI to VIII, while the senior category will include students from classes IX to XI. To participate in the exhibition, students will have to register online by October 17. The theme once selected in the exhibition will not be changed.

Dr Ram Singh, City Coordinator and Principal, DPS Ranchi has said that the exhibition will be judged on the basis of various facts. These will include 20 percent creativity and imagination, 15 percent innovation, 15 percent scientific ideas, 15 percent technical skills, 15 percent educational value, 10 percent economics and portability and 10 percent presentation.

The exhibition will be held at different places at the regional level. The students selected here will be a part of the national-level exhibition. For more details, students can visit the official website of CBSE.

On the other hand, the date of registration of students for classes IX and XI for the session 2022-23 has been extended by the CBSE till October 15 with the usual fee. Earlier the last date was September 30. Keeping in view the problems of the students, CBSE has decided to extend the last date for the submission of registration data.
