Ranchi, March 7: After three-day Chitan Shivir in Parasnath, prominent workers of Indian National Congress associated with South Chotanagpur division unit today participated in “Samvad’ at a banquet hall in Lalgutwa.
In the programme, Jharkhand in-charge of the party, Avinash Pande shared the expectation of the central leadership from them.
“Central leadership has a lot of expectations from Jharkhand. This is the reason that when I got the responsibility of Jharkhand, in the very first meeting itself, Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress is in the DNA of Jharkhand. Now it is the responsibility of keeping in the mind and taking the ideology of the party to the root. For this the most important program is the membership campaign. We all have to make it successful together through digital medium,” Pande said.
Prominent figures participated in the programme included JPCC president Rajesh Thakur besides Congress legislature party leader Alamgir Alam, working presidents, Geeta Koda, Bandhu Tirkey, and Shahzada Anwar besides members of the coordination committee including former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahai, finance minister Rameshwar Oraon, and health minister Banna Gupta.
Apart from them, All India Congress Committee Secretary Pranav Jha, Pradeep Balmuchu, former MLA of the party Sukhdev Bhagat besides present MLAs including Rajesh Kachhap Vixal Kongari, zonal co ordinator Bhushan Bada were also president.
State Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur while addressing the conference said that during the Jan Jagran Abhiyan, the party tried to keep in touch with you people.
Legislature party leader Alamgir Alam said that the office bearers and workers of the organization are the backbone of the organization, so there should be dialogue with the workers and the office bearers of the organization.
