Ranchi, March 25: Jamshedpur girl Aishwarya Rai, who smoked in a Indigo flight coming on way to Ranchi from Mumbai, got bail today from the Ranchi Civil Court.

The court granted bail after hearing her bail plea through her advocate Vikrant Sinha after she remained in jail for more than a month.

On February 18, the girl was smoking in the plane toilet. While smoking she was also preparing videos of her mischievous act. All of a sudden high-tech sensor installed in the plane started giving warning of smoke in the plane.

The warning disturbed crew members. They became actively sensing an emergent situation. They reached near the toilet of the aircraft.  But the door was locked from inside. After this episode, an FIR was registered at Ranchi Airport Police Station. The girl told the police officials that she did this for fun. Since then, the girl had been in judicial custody.

The court granted her bail on two sureties each of Rs 10,000.
