Ranchi, Feb 14: Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan has directed all the BDOs and MOICs of the district to achieve 100% vaccination target at the earliest during a meeting of the District Level Covid Task Force today.

During this meeting organized through a virtual medium, the DC while reviewing the vaccination of Covid-19 gave necessary directions to the senior officials of all the cells.

He directed the District Education Officer (DEO) to organize special vaccination camps for the children of the 15 plus age group in all the schools. In this regard, camps will be organized in all government and private schools by making a schedule.

The DC also reviewed the booth-wise door-to-door survey work during the meeting. In the course of the review, detailed information was taken about the survey conducted by the concerned ERO.

The survey reflected that despite the name being on the voter list, many people shifted or migrated and many have taken the vaccine in other places as well.

The DC said that vaccination is the best option to fight against corona. He asked the BDOs and MOICs of all the blocks to take the work of vaccination seriously.

In the meeting, all district level officers including DDC Ranchi, sub-divisional officers Sadar and Bundu, civil surgeons, nodal officers of all cells, and all BDO, CO, MOIC and PMU members of the district were present.
