Ranchi: DPS organises university fair on ‘higher education and guidance day’

Ranchi, August 6: Delhi Public School (DPS), in association with IEducationalize organised a university fair for the students of classes X to XII on Saturday. The event was held in Vivekanand Auditorium where the topic of discussion was ‘Higher Education and Guidance Day’. 

The aim of the university fair was to help students of DPS Ranchi to get an overview of reputable universities and provide them with that vital edge over aspiring students eager to opt for future career options. 

 

 

The event served as an ideal platform for students to meet and interact with diverse educational institutions so that their career path could be planned in a structured manner as per their career aspirations.   

This fair also facilitated the young minds to acquire information to decide and pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Universities. The students also posed a variety of questions to the speakers related to courses, career options and placement opportunities by the Universities.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Ram Singh, Principal of DPS Ranchi said, “It is always challenging for students to make the right choices in terms of their careers and by organizing such fairs and events, we provide a plethora of prospectus for students and help them gain better clarity over their career options.”

The speakers of the event were Nitesh (Professor, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad), Dr Saurabh Diwedi (Assistant Director, SRM University, Amravati), Dr Priyanka Nema (Associate Professor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal), Shashank (Prof at Alliance University, Bangalore), Rakesh Tiwari (Manager, GUS Global Services, Pearl Academy and UPES), Abhishek Singh (Senior Executive, Admission & Outreach, Indian Institute of Art and Design) and Abhijeet Bhattacharya (Regional Manager – Outreach, BML Munjal University).
