Ranchi, March 25: The Overbridge on the Main Road that connects Rajendra Chowk with Radisson Blu Hotel Chowk will remain blocked for 33 hours. The blockade will start at 9 pm on March 25 (today) and end at 6 am on March 27 (day after tomorrow).

During the blockade, the district administration has requested the over bridge users to take alternate routes for commuting.
All vehicles travelling from Sujata Chowk on Main Road to Rajendra Chowk can reach their destination via Radisson Blu Hotel, over Kadru Bridge, and Devendra Manjhi Chowk. Vehicles leaving Radisson Blu Chowk can pass under the overbridge.
Vehicles travelling from Rajendra Chowk to Sujata Chowk can take Mecon Chowk, Devendra Manjhi Chowk, Kadru Overbridge and Hotel Radisson Blu.
The length of the proposed flyover is 2.34 km. Its construction is being done by the state road construction department. The responsibility of its construction has been given to the L&T company. Rs 271 crore will be spent on making the flyover.
