Ranchi: Marwari College concludes six-day youth festival

Ranchi, Jan 12: The Marwari College on Thursday organised the closing ceremony of the youth festival on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, under the aegis of NSS. Several competitions including painting, speech and essay were organized at the college level in the festival that began on January 6.

College Principal Dr Manoj Kumar, Professor Incharge Dr RR Sharma, Versar Prakash Kumar Jha, NSS Program Officer Professor Jayprakash Rajak and Anubhav Chakraborty were prominently present in today’s program. 

Addressing the programme, Principal Dr Kumar said, “By imbibing the life character of Swami Vivekananda in our lives, we can be ideally useful for ourselves, family, society and ultimately the world.”

The awardees include Shubham Kumar Dubey (first position), Piyush Kumar (second position), Shilpi Kumari (third position), Arsha Mehboob (third position), Amit Kumar and Shivam in the painting competition.

Elocution Competition winners include Yogesh Kumar Jha (first position), Mohd. Rajiq Khan (second position), Prakash Indwar (second position), and Sakshi Arya (third position)

Meanwhile, Essay Competition winners include Deeksha Kumari (first position), Praveen Harsh (second position), Shafqat Jahan and Deepak Kumar Mahato.
