Ranchi, Jan.19: The PMLA court today deferred hearing in a petition filed by CM’s MLA representative Pankaj Mishra, accusing ED Assistant Director Devbrata Jha of concealing the facts.
Now the matter will be heard on January 25.
Mishra, whom the ED had arrested in a case of laundering money earned by illegal mining, has filed the petition.
Arguing the case, Pankaj Mishra’s lawyer Manoj Mishra stated that the ED hid facts of the Barharwa tender case and filed a prosecution complaint before PMLA court against his client.
Special Public Prosecutor Atish Kumar appearing on behalf of the ED countered the argument challenging the merit of the case saying the prosecution complaint was filed in accordance with law with all necessary facts and findings.
