Ranchi, Jan.12: Ranchi police recovered a body besides a railway track near Argora police station this morning. The deceased was identified as Bittu Khan, a notorious thief wanted in several cases of thefts.
Police got information regarding the incident around 7.30am. They suspect that the incident might have taken place in the morning when the Lohardaga train crossed.
Asked about the motive, Argora OC Vinod Kumar said: “Though the investigation is on but prima facie, it appears that either he had rolled down in order to jump from the train after committing theft or without committing theft. He often used to remain in a drunken stage.”
