Ranchi: RIMS Non-Gazetted Employees Association to protest against EPF recovery on June 18

Ranchi, June 17: Non-Gazetted Employees Association of RIMS will agitate from June 18 against EPF recovery, if their demands are not met. The movement will start from June 18 and will continue in different ways till June 27. On June 18 and 19, employees will work by wearing black badges.

On June 21, the union will hold a silent demonstration in front of the director’s office. On June 23, there will be a pen-strike, on June 25, the administrative building will be closed and on June 27, OPD services will be closed from 9 am to 12 noon. The union is doing this movement against the EPF recovery.

In protest against the EPF recovery, the members staged a sit-in in front of the director’s office in the past. After which on May 31, he was given 15 days time from the director’s office. After the completion of the time period, now the union has decided to agitation.

To stop EPF recovery, RIMS management has been requested many times in the past. Along with this, they demand that the illegally collected EPF amount should be returned to the affected employees.

Apart from this, under the order of the Department of Health, Medical, Education, and Family Welfare, there has been a demand to mark and punish the guilty employees and adjust the daily wages and contract employees who have been serving for more than 10 years.
