Ranchi: Top notch companies hire 41 IT students of DSPMU

Ranchi, March 24: The Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Placement Cell has helped 41 students of the Department of Computer Applications and Information Technology get placements in several national and international companies this year.

As per data released by the cell, students have received placement offers from Infosys, Wipro, Z Zupee, Larsens and Toubro Infotech, Cred, Accenture, Mind Tree and TCS. Among these, six students have been selected by Infosys on a package of Rs 2.3 lakhs per annum, as Operations Executive in Training.

Along with this, Wipro selected 17 students at a package of Rs 2.5 lakhs per annum as Scholar Trainee for a work integrated learning programme.

Z Zupee, Cred selected one student each for Rs 3.9 and Rs 3.4 lakhs per annum respectively. MindTree has also selected a candidate; however, their package is yet to be set.

Larsens and Toubro Infotech, on the other hand, selected five students for a package of Rs 3.6 lakhs per annum as Associate Trainees. Similarly, Accenture selected seven candidates as Associate Trainees at a package of Rs 3.3 lakhs per annum. Meanwhile, TCS chose three candidates as System Associate for Rs 2.5 lakhs each.

Placement Cell member Prof I N Sahu said, “We are hopeful that several other students from our university will be selected for future placement opportunities.”
