Ranchi youth dies, four injured as car plunges into gorge in Netarhat Valley

Gumla, Oct 22: A car went out of control and fell into a 300-feet-deep gorge near the Military turn in Netarhat Valley of the Gurdari police station area of the district.

A young man from Ranchi died in this accident. Other people in the car suffered serious injuries.

On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The injured individuals have been admitted to the hospital.

The incident is reported to have involved five young men who were travelling from Ranchi to Netarhat for a visit. During the journey, their car lost control and fell into a 300-foot-deep gorge.

In this accident, Mohammad Shahbaz Rizvi, also known as Kaif (20 years old) from Barriatu, Ranchi, lost his life on the spot.

The driver, Shadab Khan (35 years old), sustained serious head injuries, and Sharikh Khan suffered a fracture in his right leg. Additionally, Fardeen Khan (18 years old) and Saiyad Saeed (19 years old) sustained minor injuries.
