Dhanbad, Aug 26: The three-day proposed 32nd conference of the Rashtriya Colliery Khadan Federation (INTUC) scheduled at Puri in Odisha from September 11 to 13 has been called off in wake of the political developments in Jharkhand.
Rashtriya Colliery Mazdoor Union (RCMU) general secretary AK Jha in a letter to all central office-bearers, executive members, regional office bearers and branch office bearers of the organization has said that in wake of political development in Jharkhand and Cong Party’s schedule programme of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from September 7, the 32nd conference of Rashtriya Colliery Khadan Federation has been cancelled.

“On the directive of Congress Party’s Jharkhand in-charge Avinash Pande and national headquarter, Federation president Kumar Jaymangal Singh (Anup Singh) has cancelled the conference till further date,“ said AK Jha.
Sources said that the party’s high command has directed all Congress MLAs in the state to remain in Ranchi to cope with the political situation in Jharkhand in case a show of strength situation appears.
Moreover, INTUC leaders said that the party has pressed in its all strength in making the Bharat Jodo Padyatra programme of Rahul Gandhi, so all functions of its frontal organizations have been cancelled across the country.
