Ramgarh, June 18: The Reserve Bank of India, Patna, hosted an ‘E-Baat’ programme in the Ramgarh district with 150 officials and staff from the Ramgarh Cantonment taking part in the event.
Sanjeev Dayal, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Patna, inaugurated the session. The programme included officers from the Reserve Bank of India, and the State Bank of India as well.
Sanjeev Dayal briefed the audience on digital banking and the significance of proper and safe use in the current scenario.
He also informed the audience about the numerous techniques used by fraudsters and how to prevent them. Along with this, he spoke on the country’s progress and the transition to a cashless society.
Taking the event further, representatives from the Reserve Bank of India, Patna, gave a detailed presentation in which they explained various digital banking products, as well as various banking and fraud complaints and plans for their redressal.
A quiz was also prepared for the participants at the end. The ‘e-baat’ programme was well received by those who attended the event. Following the performance, a tree-planting drive was carried out.
