New Delhi, Dec 1: K Kavitha, member of the Bharatiya Rashtriya Samiti (BRS), stated that she is prepared to respond to any inquiry after her name was mentioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in its investigation into the Delhi liquor scandal.

“We state that we will face any kind of inquiry. If the agencies come and ask us questions, we will certainly answer. But tarnishing leaders’ images by giving selective leaks to the media, people will refute it,” BRS MLA Kavitha was quoted by the PTI as saying.

The central agencies are currently keeping an eye on K Kavitha, the daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, and the leaders of her party in the now-scrapped liquor scandal.

According to the remand copy created by the ED for a jailed businessman from Gurugram Amit Arora, who is allegedly Manish Sisodia’s deputy chief minister of Delhi, contacted 35 people in the previous year, including TRS MLC Kavitha.

According to the remand copy, Amit Arora, who was detained by the investigation agency on Wednesday, phoned Kavitha ten times using two different numbers that belonged to her. Buddy Retail, situated in Gurugram, is directed by Arora.

32 suspects, including politicians Kalvakuntla Kavitha, Manish Sisodia, and Kailash Gehlot, are allegedly involved in the alleged excise policy fraud, according to the ED.
