The Jharkhand government had applied for 50 seats’ permission. The inspection team returned satisfied during  spot inspection of the institute.
The JSDC chairman said that after this recognition the number of seats could be increased to 100 seats if the state government wants so.

Dr Vivek Kumar, who has the credit of connecting 316 dental colleges across the country with the biometric attendance system, had carried out a campaign for the last one year for getting recognition to the RIMS Dental Institute.
