Ranchi, July 17: RJD general secretary cum spokesperson Manoj Kumar suggested new BJP Jharkhand president Babulal Marandi to win the BJP leaders before winning election.
His statement came two days after Marandi assumed the office of BJP state president and expressed his intention to make Narendra Modi prime minister of India third time in a row.
“Though Marandi Ji has asked his party workers to win booths to win Jharkhand and Delhi but, in my opinion, he will have to win the hearts of BJP leaders including Raghubar Das and Arjun Munda first before talking about winning Jharkhand and Delhi,” Kumar said.
The RJD leader said the BJP leaders are not happy with the appointment of Marandi as party chief while the JVM workers are upbeat. According to him, Marandi is an outdated leader, whose character is known to everyone. He said people know well how he ensured the death of many creating controversy over domicile.
