Washington, Jan 21: Filmmaker Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie ‘The Batman’ which stars actor Robert Pattinson will be the longest Dark Knight film in the history.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the official length for The Batman, the upcoming DC Comics Caped Crusader starring the Twilight alum in the titular role, has been verified as 2 hours and 55 minutes including the credits.
The Motion Picture Association also gave the film a PG-13 rating for “strong violent and disturbing content, drug content, strong language, and some suggestive material,” which was announced last week.
The Batman’s runtime is roughly same to Marvel’s Avengers: Engame, which clocked in at 3 hours and 1 minute and set box office records in 2019.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is 2 hours and 28 minutes lengthy, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which premiered on HBO Max last year, is 4 hours and 2 minutes long in its director’s cut.
The R-rated Joker, which won an Oscar for Joaquin Phoenix, ran for 2 hours and 2 minutes, and The Dark Knight Rises, which ran for 2 hours and 44 minutes, was the longest film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.
Notably, The Batman will hit the theaters on March 4.
