New Delhi, July 22: The Batman, the Matt Reeves-directed reboot of the Dark Knight starring Robert Pattinson, will debut on Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday, July 27, the streaming service said early on Friday.
It will be possible to watch the most recent DC superhero film in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Batman received two more dubs in India than that, in the languages of Kannada and Malayalam. The maximum resolution that will be supported by Prime Video is unknown.
The Batman, which debuted in theatres on March 4 worldwide, is now available to stream 145 days, or 20 weeks, 5 days, after its theatrical release. (That’s a comparable window to Warner Bros.’ most recent big movie before Batman: The Matrix Resurrections. 141 days after its theatrical premiere, the fourth Matrix film—featuring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the key roles—was made available for streaming.)
The “Peacemaker” series featuring John Cena will also be accessible on Amazon Prime Video, along with a number of additional films that will be published as a part of Amazon Prime Video. Just one month after its theatrical debut, the Bollywood film “Jug Jugg Jeeyo” is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video as part of Amazon Prime Day.
