RU gets 10 Kudukh, four Khadia teachers

Ranchi, Jan 18: The Ranchi University (RU) syndicate met on Wednesday to discuss several points including reviewing a new syllabus, accepting the resignation of a principal at a college, and the promotion of teachers among others.

Notably, of the nine proposals, the syndicate has accepted six, confirmed two, and postponed one.

The ones accepted include the decisions taken in a meeting of the finance committee on December 21, 2022; the decision to add on the new syllabi as discussed in a meeting held on January 9, 2023; JPSC’s recommendation from JPSC regarding 10 assistant professors in Kudukh and 4 assistant professors for Khadia in Ranchi University; accepting the resignation of Dr Juhi Rose Vandana Minj; and making Dr Barun Kumar Mandal an assistant professor of Bangla Department at PPK College the Finance Officer of the Jharkhand Open University.

Meanwhile, the ones confirmed include reviewing decisions taken in meetings held on December 2, 2022, and January 2, 2023. On the other hand, the proposal that was postponed was the application from Dr Vasant Sahu, Psychology department, Mandar College.
