SAIL Chairman visits SRU IFICO and Ranchi Road units

Ramgarh, Sept 10: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Chairman Soma Mondal visited SAIL’s SRU IFICO and Ranchi Road units at Ramgarh on Saturday.

Mondal reviewed the working of SRU and inspected the plants of both the units. She was briefed about the performance of SRU during the presentation by the officers and about the efforts being made towards achieving the production target.

Along with SAIL Chairman, Amarendra Prakash, Director-in-Charge of BSL and PK Rath, Executive Director, SRU were also present. The SAIL Chairman, while giving a message, emphasized on modernization and expansion of SRU as well as excellence in work culture.

Earlier, in the honor of SAIL Chairman and Director-in-charge of BSL, traditional folk dance was organised at IFICO’s HRD Center. The Chairman also interacted with the wives of the employees during her visit and heard their problems. They were given bouquets and mementos.

The program was mainly attended by Chief General Manager (SMCCC&P) of SRU KS Kanhaiya, Chief General Manager (Personnel) Niranjan Kumar, Chief General Manager (Operations) Gyanesh Jha, General Manager and In-Charge SRU IFICO S Sarkar, General Manager & In-charge SRU Ranchi Road A Mohanty, General Manager and In-Charge SRU Stores B. Apart from these, many officers and employees of SRU IFICO and Ranchi Road units were present.
