Saryu Roy pays rich tributes to former PM  in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec 25 : Steel city residents under the banner of Naman, a social outfit on Saturday paid tributes to former prime minister and BJP stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary at a function organised at Sakchi.

Bharatiya Jan Morcha leader Saryu Roy , social worker Hari Vallabh Singh Arsi and several other noted citizens attended the function.
Former state BJP spokesperson Amarpreet Singh, who founded the outfit welcomed the guests and spoke about the contribution of the former Prime Minister.The tribute function was organised on the theme of women empowerment.

Several women activists who are working for the well being of the society were felicitated on the occasion.

Several  social workers of the city were also feted on the occasion.

Roy and others paid floral tributes to the former PM and spoke high about him.
Born in Gwalior in 1924, Vajpayee was the face of the BJP for decades and was the first non-Congress Prime Minister to have served a full term in office.
