The conman was charged by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on October 7 for defrauding a businessman of millions of dollars by pretending to be a law secretary.
In accordance with the Supreme Court of India’s directives, the CBI opened a probe on May 27, 2020, taking over from the Chennai Police.
The chargesheet claims that Sukesh and Sanjay Jain, a resident of Delhi, planned to impersonate someone else online in order to cheat.
