New Delhi, Oct 17: Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar claims he has received death threats and has petitioned the Supreme Court to have the Mandoli case transferred to Tihar jail. The plea was denied, and the bench of justices led by Ajay Rastogi stated, “Sorry, these kinds of techniques can’t be tolerated here,” adding that “no relief can be offered to him in this way.”

The conman was charged by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on October 7 for defrauding a businessman of millions of dollars by pretending to be a law secretary.

In accordance with the Supreme Court of India’s directives, the CBI opened a probe on May 27, 2020, taking over from the Chennai Police.

The chargesheet claims that Sukesh and Sanjay Jain, a resident of Delhi, planned to impersonate someone else online in order to cheat.
