Ranchi, Jan 4: Schools and coaching institutes in Ranchi gear up to complete the syllabus of the students through an online mode of studies. The decision came after the new instructions imposed on Monday by the state government for the closure of all educational institutions.

DAV Alok school principal Dr Ashok Kumar said that with the imposition of restrictions by the government the school will go back from the hybrid model of education to online education.

“As the CBSE has conducted the first term examination and more than 50% of the syllabus is also completed, hence the online education will not be a problem this year. It will become easy to promote the lower grade students by taking the online examination and for the higher grades by doubling the marks scored in the first term examination,” Kumar said.

DAV Kapildev Principal Mukesh Sinha said that the school will follow the guidelines of the state government and after 6th Jan the classes will be continued in the online medium itself.

Zila School Principal Ashish Kumar said that  JAC has decided to conduct the boards in the month of April and more than 50% of the syllabus is already covered, so the remaining syllabus will be covered in virtual mode.

“Looking at the vaccination trend of the teenagers, it is most likely to get completed by February and if the school reopens in March, we will have ample time for the revision of the syllabus,” Kumar said.

Champ Square director Mukesh Kumar said that the classes will be continued in the virtual mode as it was done in the previous year and it won’t affect the studies of students as the students and teachers are well acquainted with the process of online education.
