Schools may apply for CBSE affiliation for session 2023-24 from March 1

Ranchi, Feb 21: Schools may now apply for affiliation for the session 2023-24 from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from March 1. Schools can apply for new affiliation in online mode through the website of the Board. No Objection Certificate, Certificate from State Government, Certificate of Land, Building Safety Certificate, Fire Certificate and Certificate of Trustee-Society or Company Registration will have to be submitted along with the application.

A fee of Rs 10 thousand will have to be deposited online along with the form. After filling the application, it has to be scanned and uploaded. After this, the investigation of the schools will be done only through artificial intelligence. According to the board, online applications will be taken till May 31 for affiliation for middle, secondary or higher secondary schools.

Notably, online applications will be submitted for class upgrade affiliation from August 1 to November 30. The date of application for new affiliation for secondary school, permission to remove secondary class, new affiliation for higher secondary school, permission to run more than one shift will also be available from March 1 to May 31.
