Jamshedpur, May 9: The South Eastern Railway notified cancellation of two express trains under its jurisdiction due to development activities in various railway divisions.
According to a circular issued by Garden Reach, the Kolkata-based headquarters of South Eastern Railway:
- 12768 Santragachi-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express will remain cancelled from Santragachi on May 11 and May 18.
- 12767 Hazur Sahib Nanded-Santragachi Express will remain cancelled from Hazur Sahib Nanded on May 9 and May 16.
- Both Up and Down trains travel via Tatanagar and other railway stations under the Chakradharpur division.
- 22170 Santragachi-Rani Kamlapati Express will also remain cancelled from Santragachi on May 12 and May 19.
- 22169 Rani Kamlapati-Santragachi Express will also remain cancelled from Rani Kamlapati on May 11 and May 18.
Authorities at Tatanagar railway station said they have received an intimation regarding the cancellation of trains from the headquarters.
Those who had booked tickets in advance on the days the trains have been cancelled will get back a full refund, said a railway official.
