SER Train services affected for second consecutive day amid public agitation

Jamshedpur, Feb 23: South Eastern Railway ( SER ) train services were affected for the second consecutive day today due to the public agitation at Bamra station.

The agitators demanded stoppages of Mail/Express trains at Bamra which falls in the SER network. The station is located in Odisha on the Tata- Bilaspur route.

The agitation is being staged despite the fact that four Mail/Express trains viz. 13288/13287 Rajendranagar-Durg-Rajendranagar Express, 22839/22840 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Express, 12833/12834 Ahmedabad-Howrah-Ahmedabad Express and 18477/18478 Puri – Yog Nagari Rishikesh – Puri Express have already been provided stoppage at Bamra Station with effect from February 18.

As a result of the agitation, train services under SER jurisdiction were affected for the second consecutive day.

· 08168 Jharsuguda-Rourkela Passenger Special

· 08167 Rourkela-Jharsuguda Passenger Special

· 18176 Jharsuguda-Hatia Passenger Special

· 18175 Hatia-Jharsuguda Passenger Special
