Ranchi, March 15: The failure of internet services for more than 7 hours provided by NIC in Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) created a long queue of patients in front of the registration counter on Tuesday morning.
The server of NIC in RIMS remained stalled for seven and a half hours. During this, there was a long queue of patients who came to OPD for medical consultation.
According to the information received, the server was stalled from 3:00 am to 10:30 am. Due to this, the patients coming from far-flung areas had to face problems.
However, given the increasing problems of the patients, the employees of the emergency counter and OPD registration counter gave handwritten registration slips to the patients.
After the handwritten slip was given by the staff posted on the registration counter, the doctors in the OPD provided consultation, but the patients had to face problems in getting the test done written by the doctor.
However, after the restoration of the server, people were registered online.
