Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, was arrested on Sunday by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the high profile drugs party in Mumbai. Along with him, his close friend Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra have also been arrested.

Notably, on Sunday morning, NCB questioned Aryan Khan in connection with the rave party that was busted on Saturday night after officials raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. 7 people including 3 girls are still in custody in this case.

This drugs party was organized on  ‘Cordelia the Impress’ cruise near Mumbai. At the time when NCB raided, 600 people were involved in the party. According to NCB sources, Aryan was also present on the cruise where this rave party was going on. Although it is not clear whether he had taken drugs or not. According to the information so far, a huge quantity of drugs have been seized from the ship. Its price is being told in crores.

The NCB has also summoned six of the organizers who had planned the cruise party for questioning. They will have to appear before the NCB by 11 pm tonight.

NCB chief SN Pradhan said that after two weeks of investigation, we were able to do this raid. In this, links of many people of Bollywood have come to the fore. We are taking action in a fair manner. If any connection with Bollywood or rich people comes to the fore in this process, then let it come. We will work within the ambit of the law.

“In the last one year, we have done more than 300 raids in Mumbai itself. These raids will continue, whether foreigners, film industry people or rich people are involved in it. Our goal is to make the country drug free”, NCB chief added.
