New Delhi, Oct 12: Shikhar Dhawan, cricket player, will make his Bollywood debut in the Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha-starring movie ‘Double XL.’
On Tuesday, Huma posted a picture of the movie on Instagram. Shikhar and Huma can be seen dancing in the picture. As he danced hand-in-hand with Huma, Shikhar, who was wearing a black suit, looked dapper with a bow.
Huma released yet another picture of herself laughing with Shikhar. In Double XL, two plus-sized ladies embark on a hilarious and heartwarming journey inside their own souls as they traverse a society that frequently equates a woman’s appeal or beauty with her size.
The movie discusses body positivity and women supporting one another. Both Huma and Sonakshi have experienced body shaming in real life. Now, they will both be regarded as Double XL’s main characters. Zaheer Iqbal also appears in the movie.
The upcoming social comedy is being directed by Satramm Ramani and written by Mudassar Aziz. It is made by Elemen3 Entertainment, Wakaoo Films, and T-Series. The movie will premiere on November 4, 2022, in theatres.
