New Delhi, June 17: Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the Congress, is undergoing treatment for a fungal infection in her lower respiratory tract as well as post-Covid symptoms, according to a statement from the party.
Sonia Gandhi was hospitalised to Delhi’s Ganga Ram Hospital with Covid problems and profuse nasal bleeding on June 12. She also had a follow-up procedure. On June 1, she tested positive for Covid-19.

The Enforcement Directorate summoned Sonia Gandhi on June 23 in a money laundering investigation.
The investigating agency has already questioned her son, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, and his next deposition before the ED is planned for Monday.
