Jamshedpur, Sept 6: South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to run a special train between Visakhapatnam and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction ( formerly Mughalsarai) leaving Visakhapatnam every Wednesday from September 6 to October 25 and leaving Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya station every Thursday from September 7 to October 26.
08588 Visakhapatnam-Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Special will leave Visakhapatnam at 12.30 pm and will reach Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya at 1.30 pm, the next day.
In the return direction, 08587 Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya-Visakhapatnam Special will leave Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya at 7.10 pm and will reach Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya station at 8.30 pm, the next day.
The special train will have one AC-two-tier, three AC-3 tier, twelve sleeper class and two general second-class coaches and will have stoppages at Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi and Muri in SER jurisdiction.
Railway authorities said that the special train was introduced to clear the heavy rush of passengers.
