Special trains to operate via Dhanbad for Ajmer Sharif Urs festival

Dhanbad, Jan 21: Special trains would be operated through Dhanbad for devotees to participate in the annual Ajmer Sharif Urs festival.

The senior officer of Dhanbad Rail Division said that keeping the participation of large numbers of devotees in Ajmer Sharif Urs festival, special trips of up and down trains no 09663 and 09664 Madar-Asansol would be made on two-day, January 28 and January 30.

The Railway officer said the special train (09663) would kick start from Madar railway junction at 1 PM on January 28 and reach Asansol station the next day at 12.30 PM. Similarly, the train would return to Madar on January 30. The train (09664) would kick start from Asansol station at 1.40 pm and would reach Madar station at 1.30 PM the next day.

The special train is comprising 24 coaches including two coaches of AC  first and second class, a third AC, six sleeper class, 11 unreserved coaches and two coaches of SLR,

The up-and-down special trains would stop at Dhanbad, Parasnath, Koderma, Gaya, Dehri-On-Sone, Sasaram, Bhabhua Road, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Tundla, Agra Fort, Achhera, Bharatpur, Bandikui, Jaipur, Kishangarh stations between Asansol to Madar railway stations.
