Ramgarh, Dec 16: A selection camp of the Jharkhand Divyang Para Kabaddi team was organized at the MMT Football Ground on Thursday. Differently-abled players from many districts of Jharkhand participated in this camp.
Sports Association for the Disabled Chief Patron Vijay Mewar was the chief guest at the event, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, special guest Dr. Amit Kumar of ProCare, national player of Kabaddi team Deepika Kumari, President Reema Sahu were the other prominent figures that were present at the event.
Earlier, the guests were welcomed by Jharkhand Para Kabaddi players with a bouquet of flowers. The inauguration was done by introducing the players along with fellow players.
As the event progressed, the players were selected for the Jharkhand Para Kabaddi team. The team will participate in the upcoming national competition from 27 to 29 December at the Mela Ground in Pushkar, Rajasthan under the banner of the Sports Control Board of India.
Jharkhand Kabaddi team coach Manoj Sharma was present as a selector.
The players who were selected for the team are:

- Laxman Mahto
- Rajesh Kumar
- Mohammad Ariz
- Vikas Kumar
- Rajesh Oraon and others
Chief Patron Vijay Mewar said, “The players who are going to the tournament have passed through the camp. Children’s games are worthy of praise. I have full faith that the Jharkhand Para Kabaddi team will increase the respect of Jharkhand and will give their 100% to the game.”
Secretary of Sports Association for the Disabled Mohd Athar Ali and Treasurer Sandeep Karmali gave the vote of thanks to the dignitaries and guests. Manoj Karmali, Jagtu Munda, Soni Kumari, Dr. Laldev, Pintu Karmali, Aijaz Ahmed, Premchand besides others were also present in this selection camp.
