Ranchi, Aug 25: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for recruitment on Grade C and Grade D Stenographer posts. Through this recruitment process, the vacancies of Stenographers in Central Government Ministries and Various Departments and Border Road Organization (BRO) will be filled. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website www.ssc.nic.in.
Under Stenographer Grade C, the vacancies of stenographers in Central Government Ministries and various Departments will be filled, while the vacancies of Border Road Organisation will be filled through Stenographer Grade D. The last date of application is September 5, 2022. However, a date is yet to be mentioned for the admit card and exam.
Notably, the Stenographer Grade C and D exams will be computer-based. Skill test will be conducted for the selected candidates. Dictation will be given to the candidates appearing in Grade C and D, after listening to which you will have to type all those words. To apply, the candidate must have passed 12th class from a recognized board or university. The age limit set for both posts is set between 18 and 30 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation here.
SSC Stenographer Group C and D exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper-1 will be computer-based. A total of 200 questions of 200 marks will be asked here. Each question will be of 1 mark, out of which 50 questions will be asked from General Knowledge, 50 questions from Intelligence & Reasoning and 100 questions from the English Language.
Notably, there will be negative marking, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. At the same time, a skill test will be conducted for the candidates who are successful in the written examination, the direct selection of the selected candidates will be done for grades C and D.
