Ranchi: The state Congress has given a clean chit to two Congress MLAs (Irfan Ansari and Umashankar Akela) who were named in an alleged conspiracy to topple the Hemant Soren government. Legislature party leader Alamgir Alam has described the meeting of both his MLAs with BJP leaders in a hotel in Delhi as a mere coincidence. However, Alamgir has also said that the party is still reviewing the entire matter. At the same time, State President Dr Rameshwar Oraon has also said that it is just a coincidence that while going to Delhi, BJP leaders along with Congress MLAs were sitting together in air travel.
Let us inform that Jharkhand in-charge RPN Singh has sought a detailed report from the state Congress regarding the horse-trading case of Congress MLAs. In this regard, he had called State President Dr. Rameshwar Oraon and Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam. After questioning all the MLAs, the complete report will be sent to the party high command. A meeting was called at the residence of Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam on Wednesday evening regarding this matter. MLAs Irfan Ansari, Uma Shankar Akela, Amba Prasad, Poornima Neeraj Singh, Naman Vixal Kongadi and Bhushan Bada were present in the meeting.
Irfan and Umashankar left alone without talking to the media
At the same time, when the meeting was over, all the MLAs were seen coming out of Alamgir’s residence one by one. But when Irfan Ansari and Umashankar came out alone, a displeasure was evident on their faces. During this, both the MLAs avoided talking to the media and left without talking.
