RAJESH KUMAR PANDEY
Dumka, Nov.26: State Congress president Rajesh Thakur came down heavily on the BJP saying the central government stepped back from the farm laws and depreciated the fuel prices after having perceived the mood of the common citizens who rejected its policies through the mandate of different elections recently taken place elsewhere in the country.
Thakur was in the sub capital here on Friday to attend the nationwide program of Congress which has been launched from November 14 to mark protest against the rising inflation in the country as part of ‘Jan Jagran Abhiyan’
“Loss of all the four seats in Himachal Pradesh in the recently concluded elections has been a slap on their (BJP leadership) which prompted them to roll back the fuel prices,” Thakur said who along with the working president of the party Bandhu Tirky joined the morning rally organised by the district unit of the party.
He further said that the BJP leadership has realised that they will have to step back from all those issues been raised by the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and that the saffron party would be removed from power in the next parliamentary elections.
