State sub-Junior badminton: Anushka of Jamshedpur storms in last 8

Dhanbad, Aug 26: Anushka  Kachhap of Jamshedpur  and Anshika  of Ranchi entered the quarter final in the girls under -15  event  of the Jharkhand State Sub-Junior Badminton Championship  being played at Dhanbad indoor Stadium.

In the pre-quarterfinal,  Anushka Kachhap defeated  Hishita  Bora of Ranchi 15-04, 15-07 while  Anshika beat Puja Kumari Ranchi- 15-10, 15-06.

In other matches of girls under-15, Aashita of Ranchi beat Pallavi  Mishra  of Gumla  15-11, 15-13.  Eeshi Verma of ranchi  beat Adya Tulsyan  of Dhanbad 15-12, 15-06.  Aqsa Firdos of Bokaro beat Shambhavi Berma 15-10, 15-05, Vaibhavi Srivastav of Jamshedpur beat Amrit Kaur of Dhanbad 15-07, 15-05. Priyanka Oraon of Gumla beat Akansha Sundi of Dhanbad 15-14, 15-13 and reached quarterfinals.

In boys under -15, Krish Dubey of Jamshedpur entered into the quarterfinals defeating Pranit Ranjan Sinha of Ranchi 15-09, 13-15, 15-06.  Krrish Kumar of Latehar beat Surdeep Kumar of Bokaro 15-07, 15-12.  Sujal Rakshit of Dhanbad beat Adarsh Kumar of Giridih  15-02, 15-01.

In the girls under -17 event, Yogita Bora of Ranchi entered in last 8  beating Aqsa Firdos  of Bokaro 15-04, 15-08,  Jasinta Billung  of Gumla  beat Snegdha Bose of Jamshedpur  15-08, 15-10, Anshika Tyagi of  Jamshedpur  beat Vaishnavi Singh  of Deoghar 15-06, 15-03.

In  the boys under -17 event,  state champion Niraj Kesri of  Ranch beat Yuvraj Kumar of Ranchi  15-11, 15-05, Shourya  of Palamu beat Ishan Shaha of Hazaribag 15-09 , 15-06, Krish Dubey of Jamshedpur beat Mohit Raj of   Ranchi 15-03, 15-06, Dipak Mahto of Ranchi beat Abu Riyan of Hazaribag  14-15, 15-13, 15-10, Ashu Gopal of Ranchi beat Swapneel  Nayak of Hazaribagh 10-15, 15-03, 15-10, Sachin Gope of Gumla beat  Satwik Choudhary of Ranchi 15-06, 15-03, Suraj Pratap Singh of Jamshedpur beat  Jimmy Jerald  Ekka of  Ranchi 15-07, 15-08 and Sujal Rakshit of Dhanbad beat   Shree Ram   Ratan by 15-13, 15-10.
