SVEEP organises cricket match to enhance voter awareness in Ramgarh

Ramgarh, Jan 23: In view of the Ramgarh assembly bypolls 2023, a cricket match was organised under SVEEP between District Administration XI and Divyang XI at the Cantonment Football Ground in Ramgarh on Monday to enhance voter awareness.

The Divyang XI team scored 72 runs in eight overs losing five wickets, in response to which the District Administration XI tied the match by scoring 72 runs without losing any wickets.

During the event, Ramgarh Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Kumar Sinha, honoured the captains of both teams with trophies and appealed to everyone to exercise their right to vote and also asked them to make others aware of it.

The event was chaired by Mohammad Javed Hussain, Electoral Officer, Ramgarh Assembly Constituency cum Sub-Divisional Officer, M MS Hari Vija, Executive Officer Cantonment Board, Kanak Tirkey, District Social Welfare Officer cum Nodal Officer SVEEP Cell, Dr Asim, District Public Relations Officer cum Nodal Officer Media Cell.
